Introduction to Windows Explorer
This presentation is about
Microsoft Windows Explorer (not to be confused with
Microsoft's Internet Explorer)
and how to customize it by hacking the registry.
It appears that Explorer's purpose is to show you
what is on your disk and to allow you perform
several basic functions
- Copy, Move, Delete, Rename
- Create Directory, Find a file
- Execute programs, Open data files
However, we will see that Windows Explorer lies all the time.
It only shows what MS thinks you should see.
Windows Explorer is not a file manager
